Juemingzi (Cassia seeds) and Fatty Liver Disease

 
 

In this study they found that a common Chinese medicinal herb, Juemingzi (Cassia seeds) improved non-alcoholic (usually diet induced) fatty liver disease through changing the way fat metabolizes. Another great part of this study was that it was done by analyzing the blood samples of living humans and not mice or petri dishes!
