Meta-analysis of research looking at combination of letrozle and clomiphene to help induce ovulation in people with PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome)

Two drugs happy together at last

In this meta-analysis of research they looked at using the combination of letrozole and clomiphene to help induce ovulation in people with PCOS. Both of these drugs are similar and are very often used as a first line of drug therapy to help women with fertility problems. However they are usually used singly and not together. Here they showed that not only did it increase ovulation rates but there was no increase in adverse side effects! Great news as well is that neither of these drugs is very expensive!
