In this analysis of published research papers they used 1237 RCT’s (randomized controlled trials) to look at using TCM modalities to treat depressive disorders (DD) alone and in combination with western therapies. Like we find in our clinic, they found that “Overall, Chinese medicine treatment modalities, whether as mono-therapy or in combination with conventional Western therapy, demonstrated enhanced efficacy and a favourable safety profile for DD.”
