In this research they looked at using acupuncture to treat the non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. They found acupuncture treatment to be helps with “anxiety, depression, sleep quality, and overall quality of life, as well as additional benefits in pain management and gastrointestinal function.” Unusual for study’s I looked at they even compared different methods of acupuncture to see what was more effective for which symptom!
